Regarding the class jacket thing, i dont really have any opinion yet. will only comment after the design is out.

My motive of this post is to ask anyone with a good scanner to scan the class photos and upload here. I only ordered two including the compulsory one so share la!!! :P haha, abit cheapo but wheres the class spirit man :) thanks in advance. we all can share the pictures together.

Me thinks a class jacket is a hot idea (yup), but must make sure it doesn't look geeky (like the spectra one >_<) or be too generic (sbthree anyone?) $20 seems like a reasonable price for a class jacket. gogogo!

Hey guys.

Celestin came up with the idea of having a class t-shirt/jacket.
So I was wondering what you guys think.
We already have a Jack, but no jacket. So why don't we make a class jacket, yeah?
Ok i'm talking crap, but you get the idea.
We'll discuss this in class when there's a chance to.
I'm pretty sure we can get our class Art student to design a cool jacket for our class.
Pricing should be around $20?

Class Treasury Report

Dear 1sb11,
As some of you have requested, I have decided to e-mail the class treasury report to everyone.

1) Some of you still owe the 5th class fund collection, hence the class fund actually still owe Yubin $11.70 due to insufficient fund. Pls pay up when school reopen.
(Kenneth- $ 10, Alvan- $8, Adeline- $7)

2) As you can see, the class fund is running low and in addition I still have not refund those ppl not taking PW and GP yet, hence be prepared to pay another class fund when school reopens. I am telling this in advance because I hope that for the next collection, you all can pay up punctually according to the deadline that I had set and not keep on delaying. =.=

3) Reminder: all of you need to pay sports complex fee for Sept to Dec = $40 by 12 sept (1st week of term 4 wed) Only five of you need to pay $90. (Kenneth, Jefri, Marvyn, Alvan, Yubin) If you have actually paid the previous $50 and the form still indicate that you did not pay up, you should go and look for the form teacher because my job is to just collect $ and I cannot remember exactly who had or had not paid up last time. If you have paid up, I would certainly have ticked against your name. So if there is any problem, look for the teacher or the sports complex ppl for clarification.

4) By showing all of you this report, I hope that you can see our expenditures over the last 2 terms and realize that the class fund is being used up at a very fast rate. (the notes are not cheap!!!) That is why I had to collect class fund so many times and I hope that you can understand and try as far as possible to cooperate with me by paying up by the stated deadline. If you have any financial difficulties, you can always come and look for Mr Tay, if not look for me and I will inform him so that we can try to help you.

Well the bbq was pretty fun wasn't it? Glad you guys enjoyed it! But we still owe Marvyn's mum some moolah so all y'all will need to pay an extra $3.20 which I will collect from you all when school reopens yea. As for the photos I do have some. The rest are with Wei Arng. I've been trying to upload them but Blogger's such a bitch you know so like yea. Be patient or ask for them online. I'll only send it to you online if you are able to receive sharing folders though, if not it'll take ages.

Yea so that's pretty much all I have to say. Study hard and play hard during the hols and see you guys soon! We'll have a chalet or something after promos, fo' sho. :)

Woah. Last night's BBQ rocked man. Sure I got lost on the way there (even with a direct bus :P) and the fire refused to start for 2 hours, we had too much fo0d to cook.. seriously fun. Inbetween the constant "We should cook the otah" from Dawn and the constant self-jackings by just about everyone (myself included), the *somewhat* cooked food was tasty, and the alcohol was great (my first alcoholic drinks too :D)!

I'd also like to congratulate Jeremy for being the first person to drink himself silly. *applause*

Also, could someone upload the piccys? I don't seem to have them on me now. Thanks :D

September Break!!!

Yo peoples!
September break's unofficially here! Haha!
Today's the last day of school term, as tomorrow is school's Teacher's Day Celebrations and Firday is our school's holiday. Should we do something for our form tutors? Hmm, kinda too late for that.
Oh well. Next week ain't gonna be much fun for any of us, cos promos will begin two and a half weeks right after it ends. So gotta at least smell our lecture notes and pick up a pen once in a while.
So we're having a BBQ on friday at Marvin's place? Hmm, if there's anything we need to settle, just do it through the blog, yeah.
Hope we all will remain active on this blog. See you all next monday! By the way, it's physics, 8.30am-11.30am, Room 2.11. So, enjoy whatever amount of rest you will receive next week, and let's chiong for promos. And check out my second video!

hey im the biggest slacker in the class. here's my confession on a dashboard? i did not do EoM. hahaha. and, even though they discourage flaming people on blogs, i feel some of our teachers r retarded, esp the form teachers. hm, gp dude isnt too bad, but econ's trying too hard. maths teachers keep changing, its a sad sad thing. what is this. lol. i heard somewhere that 'change causes stress', but guess to me, it just makes me more oblivious. EoM is an example, so is the countless ponning sch... well, good luck to me if u r to say "everything is gonna be fine".

New Math teacher

Hi people.
Well, well. So our buddy SanSan the Bangla has left the building to pursue his degree over at Michigan.
Now, we have a new Math teacher, Mdm Lim *blank* *blank* (um... to be filled later). She says it may or not be temporary, so, dunno yet lah.
I was just wondering, how are you guys coping with math? Math tutorials have been quite slack under Napolean Santoshkumar, and math lectures are naptimes for most of us... consperm one!
So I hope this new teacher would be able to help us along. So far, our first lesson ytd was pretty bulletspeed... i think she claimed to want to try to finish Tutorial 18 the whole of ytd's tutorial.
Well, guys, do start revising your math if you haven't done so... promos is in 5 weeks!! Once again, i'd like to emphasise that we should want to stay as a class next year in J2.

Today's GP lesson was interesting! Why is the upperclass advantaged? Answer: Better opportunities to have a better gene pool... Go infer yourself what that means. Bottomline: Women love MONEY!! Haha.

Ladies & gentlemens of AC_1SB11!
We finally have a class blog up and running. Cool!
Feel free to post your thoughts for the day and ideas and announcements you might have here. It's meant for us to keep in touch with one another beyond school hours and over the holz. We can even communicate with Mr Tay, Ms Tan and Mr Lau KH through this. If you don't blog, try to post at least once or twice a month, or tag on our tagboard whenever you can (I'll get a tagboard up sometime soon). If you've never tried it before, don't worry! I'll do my best to help you along.
I guess right now we're all busy with finishing up our Written Report drafts and EOMs, so don't slack guys, we can celebrate right after we're done with Oral Presentation in November.
By then our promos would've been over with, so we also have to STUDY. Man our terms sucked. I'm sure we'd all like to stay as a class in the J2 cohort next year, right?
By the way, congratulations to some of our classmates for receiving student leadership posts in their respective CCAs - Verrell (P of Photog), Xiao Teng (C of Badminton), Jeevan (VP of ICS) and Sheedy (VP of MCS). Great job, guys, and hope you'll do an excellent job with leading your people.
